This is a really simple knot that is easy to tie with heavy line.
The Uni-Knot is pretty simple, but a bit tricky with light-weight line.
The offshore swivel knot is heavy and powerful and simple.

The first method is crazy simple—so simple it can be a touch confusing.

This is a very simple rig that I use and it works very well. It requires no swivel—just a sinker and a hook. It is two Palomar knots. It sometimes is called a helicopter rig.
